Over the holidays, I was busy relaxing and trying out lots of new products. New products excite me so much and I LOVE nothing more than a night of pampering and treating myself to spa moments at home. Here are some of my favorites that I tried out throughout the last couple of weeks:
Sol de Janeiro – Coco Cabana
This moisture magnet oil-in- water luxurious body cream is heavenly. From the Brazilian brand Sol de Janeiro, this product follows in the footsteps of the other cult following worthy products by this top brand. The body cream melts into the skin leaving the skin glowy, hydrated and soft. The aromas of coconut, toasted praline & vanilla latte make this product my go to new find for hydration this winter. Available at Sephora since late December.
Nest Fragrances – Eau de Parfum Discovery Kit
I am a huge fan of Nest Fragrances and have burnt through two of their beautiful candles and am making my way through one of their signature scents, Wisteria Blue, which is a delicate perfume with notes of French Wisteria, Bulgarian Rose, and Imperial Jasmine along with fresh water. This fragrance along with 3 other 8ml sized bottles are featured in the Nest Fragrances Discovery Kit. Perfect for traveling or for trying out new scents without investing in full bottles. Black Tulip features which is a darker perfume with amber plum, pink pepper & Japanese violet. Citrine is a fresh, dewy fragrance with citrus scents paired with hints of wood. Indigo is the final treat which is an exotic fragrance of Moroccan tea, Kashmir wood & black cardamom. Hints of Bergamot makes this one of my favorite scents.
Algenist – Genius Liquid Collagen Lip
This lip treatment delivers fuller, younger looking lips after using morning and night for 10 days. The vegan lip treatment is a new treatment from San Francisco based company, Algenist. The treatment contains hundreds of micro beads of micro algae oil in collagen water to fill out lips and provide definition and lasting fuller lips. This is a safe and low cost alternative to some of the lip treatments being promoted at the moment.
Rí Na Mara – Seaweed Foaming bath
Rí Na Mara is a seaweed cosmetic company based in my beautiful home town of Galway, Ireland and it is a beauty company that I have loved for years. Rí Na Mara uses organic hand-harvested, renewable seaweed to create a wide variety of nutrient rich and luxurious products. I brought this bath soak back from Galway to try out and it is amazing! This bath soak helps to re-energize and helps with aches from joints & muscles. Rich in lots of vitamins and minerals from the organic seaweed. Read more about this Irish cosmetic company HERE.
Charlotte Tilbury – Wonder Glow
Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow has a huge following all over the world and it wasn’t until December that I tried this primer after I met the Queen. Click HERE to see the magic moment! The primer can be used under foundation or simply on its own for a wonderful glow! I love the sheerness of this product and the softness on my skin. It creates a dewy look for day or night.
Babor Beauty Ampoules
I found out about Babor in November when they sent me their beauty 24 day advent calendar treatment. I had never had a beauty advent calendar and was so excited having a little window of goodness to open each day. After the 24 days (which included flying internationally) my skin felt very soft and refreshed. Babor have lots of treatment sets that focus on specific concerns e.g. aging, firmness, hydration etc. Highly recommend trying out a new treatment!
Saturday Squeak Peel Gel
Absolutely loved this peel gel which is so quick to incorporate once or twice weekly into your night time skincare routing. The refining gel eliminates impurities from the skin while soothing the skin and removing that dull look. The gel uses natural enzymes and powerful peptides in order to ensure the skin is firm and brightened. The gel contains no microbeads and is cruelty free.
The above are some of my favorites that I have found over the past few weeks but lots more beauty to come as pampering nights have featured a lot lately!
Thanks for reading and click some of the below beauty posts to find more beauty favorites of mine.
Although these products were mostly gifted and I work at the Sephora HQ in San Francisco, all opinions are my own.
